Homologation
of motorbikes
Legal basis
The framework regulation VO (EU) 168/2013 includes all requirements for two or three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles of category L. According to the regulation, these vehicles are classified into 7 vehicle classes, L1 to L7. Taking into account defined design features, a classification into subcategories for the transport of goods is possible.
The electrification of the powertrain plays a significant role, particularly for vehicles of classes L1 to L7.
